Paydays per month

Planning a whole year? The 2027 Budget Planner for Google Sheets and Excel tracks income and spending by month, splits installments and BNPL across the months you pay them, and keeps a bills checklist. $7, made by the same person who built this calculator.

Budgeting by paycheck

Why budget per paycheck?

Monthly budgets assume all the money arrives at once. If rent is due on the 1st and you are paid on the 7th and 21st, the first check of the month has to carry more. Planning per check shows that before it becomes an overdraft.

Three-paycheck months

Paid every two weeks? Two months a year have three paydays. Plan each month on two checks and use the third for savings, sinking funds or extra debt payments.

How bills are assigned

Each bill goes to the last payday on or before its due day in that month. A bill due before the month's first payday is assigned to the last paycheck of the previous month and shown at the top.
